Allergen Beagles Detect Harmful Allergens

People, who suffer from food allergies, might be unaware which particular food evokes the allergic reaction.

The Allergen Beagle, a new concept developed by Sebastian Goudsmit is meant to make things easier for everyone who has food allergy, telling which particular product you should avoid. The system can be used at the comfort of your home, which makes the task more comfortable. This health gadget looks like a scanner with test tubes and indicator strips that screens food for potential allergenic contents.

All you need to do is to choose the necessary test tube and place particles of food in it. The test tubes are inserted into the scanner and you should wait for the results. After the test was done, the verdict is shown on the indicator's strip. If it changes its color to the darker one, then this food is allergenic.

Currently, the developer says that the Allergen Beagle will be able to sniff out such foods as peanut, shellfish, gluten, lactose, hazelnut, egg, soy, almonds, which are the most common allergens.
