Now, a new iPhone app was developed to monitor your psychological and physical stress level. Basically the Stress Check app by Azumio analyzes your heart rate that is known to correlate to different levels of stress.

The J!NS PC was developed to block up to 55 percent of "blue light" from the computer display that often leads to eye fatigue.

The J!NS Moisture is another novel pair of eyeglasses that help your eyes retain moisture for up to 2 hours, fighting the common dry eye problem.

Most people become increasingly anxious about radiation, especially with the recent events in Japan. However, in our everyday life we also face some amount of radiation from different devices.

It is known that radiation can be especially harmful for pregnant women, children and young people, who are more vulnerable to radiation hazards. During pregnancy, the cells of an embryo divide very fast and any interventions can lead to negative consequences, such as birth defects or miscarriage.

The CARE bracelet is concept developed by Gang Wang, Bin Xiao and Yanyan Cheng of The Fun Team, that warns pregnant women about the high levels of radiation. The bracelet that could be safely worn by a woman changes its color from green to pink and starts vibrating, if the level of radiation becomes too high, warning the mother to leave the contaminated place.

Unfortunately, this health gadget is just a concept now, but let's hope it will soon be available to those, who need it the most.

The Allergen Beagle, a new concept developed by Sebastian Goudsmit is meant to make things easier for everyone who has food allergy, telling which particular product you should avoid. The system can be used at the comfort of your home, which makes the task more comfortable. This health gadget looks like a scanner with test tubes and indicator strips that screens food for potential allergenic contents.

All you need to do is to choose the necessary test tube and place particles of food in it. The test tubes are inserted into the scanner and you should wait for the results. After the test was done, the verdict is shown on the indicator's strip. If it changes its color to the darker one, then this food is allergenic.

Currently, the developer says that the Allergen Beagle will be able to sniff out such foods as peanut, shellfish, gluten, lactose, hazelnut, egg, soy, almonds, which are the most common allergens.

Writing is a difficult task for blind people. Stephen Brewster, a professor at University of Glasgow, has created a haptic system that teaches visually impaired children to write.

The haptic system called McSig uses the device Phantom Omni, a force-feedback pen that has a motorized arm that can move in three dimensions, guiding child's hand for writing.

Stephen Brewster together with the University of Auckland has tested the haptic device on blind children in Auckland schools and the results are quite good. After just 20 minutes of practicing with this device, the children were able to write quite well. The gadget can direct or restrain the movements, which allow the students to feel the right movements and learn the letters.
