A recent Italian study showed that penis extender may become an effective method of penis enlargement, increasing penis size by more than a third. Do such penis enlargement devices really work and improve your sex life?The device known as AndroPenis was designed by Dr Eduardo A Gomez de Diego, who found through his practice that a great number of men are concerned about their penis size or penis shape. AndroPenis is a penis extender, which consists of a plastic ring connected by metal shafts from both sides and a silicone band that holds the head. The device is meant to be worn regularly, either at home or discreetly under men's trousers during common activities.
According to Dr de Diego, the main principle of penis extender is based on those practiced in ancient times in tribes in Burma. The penis extender makes penis tissues grow by applying constant and progressive power of traction. As the tissues stretch, a man can feel some discomfort, but with the constant wear, the muscles adapt to the feeling. A massage, for example, can ease the painful sensation.
The regular use of penis extender for six months can add up to 1.5cm (0.6in) in girth and up to 4cm (1.6in) in length of the penis. Doctor says that many men enjoy stronger and longer erections after using the penis extender. The device can be used not only for penis enlargement but for the treatment of curved penis or penile retraction after surgery.
According to the Italian study at the University of Turin, men who used a penile extender every day for six months were able to enlarge the flaccid length of their penis by up to 32% and improve their erectile function by up to 36%.
It should be mentioned that surgery as one of the commonly used penis enlargement method is not suitable for many men. Like any surgical procedure it holds a number of risks and complications. Also many men simply do not meet the clinical criteria for surgical penis enlargement.
