Manduka eKO Superlite Travel Yoga Mat

Aug 03, 2010
When you go on a vacation, there is no need to leave your favorite fitness gear just because it takes too much place in your bag. If you want a lightweight and compact mat for everyday use or for travelling, Manduka eKO Superlite Travel Yoga Mat is an ideal mat to fit your bag or even purse.

Weighting less then 2 lbs., this mat is ideal for travelling and is good for the environment. This eco-friendly yoga mat is made of natural biodegradable tree rubber without the use of PVC, harmful dyes and plasticizers. Like other Manduka yoga mats it provides a perfect grip on any surface, preventing its slippage even after sweating. The special closed cell design makes sure the mat does not absorb unnecessary bacteria. The Manduka eKO Superlite Travel Yoga Mat will last a lifetime as its tightly woven scrim prevents tearing or stretching.

And if you care about the environment, you can buy the Mat Recycling Kit to receive a shipping bag that allows you to send your old yoga mat to recycleyourmat.com to recycle your old mat and keep it out of the landfills.

Since the Manduka eKO Superlite Travel Yoga Mat does not provide so much cushioning, you can also try to use Manduka PROlite Travel Yoga and Pilates Mat that is also great for travelling and provides the needed comfort.

I was thinking of doing a sliimar post! Just need to think about what actually to put on the wish list AND I need to do more sports as well (my doctor also recommended that after my recent wrist problems )

Amber, I always hated eecixrse and quit after 2-4 weeks. Only a year and a half ago did I finally find out what worked for me. 1) I realized that I had to stop making my motivation appearance-based. I need instant gratification or it just doesn't work for me. Luckily, I discovered that 20-30 minutes of cardio (fast enough so you can't talk) gives me an endorphine rush almost as good as sex. 2) I had to force myself to start out slow. I started with 20-30 minutes of cardio 3 or 4x a week. I couldn't think about it, I just had to put my shoes on and go. No thinking. 2) After a month of doing the same thing I get really bored. Every 30 days or so I switch to one of the following: bike, yoga class, circuit, cardio+ weight machines. It always feels good to move. The feeling I get during and after a good workout there's nothing else like it.
