Nasal Pillow Mask Designed for Men

Mar 23, 2011
If you suffer from sleep apnea, a dangerous sleep condition, using specially designed nasal pillow masks can relieve the symptoms and make your sleep better.

The nasal pillow masks or PAP (positive air pressure) masks prevents sleep apnea that causes narrowing of the upper airways, delivering compressed air through a hose and helping you breathe better.

Philips Respironics has released the positive air pressure pillow that is developed specifically for men. The GoLife for Men mask conforms to the larger contours of the man's face, providing comfort and secure seal during sleep.

Unlike other nasal pillow masks, the new one does not require chin support band, but fits your face perfectly. The mask fits easily with pre-formed headgear and self-adjusting pillows that reduce adjustment of the mask to a minimum.

I was put on VPAP, which is very similar to CPAP. It was awful, and like you, I slept worse. After a month or two of tyring to get used to it, I took it back.I'd avoid sleeping pills. Return the CPAP, sooner rather than later. And insist that you can't sleep with the CPAP- and be detailed about what about it keeps you from sleeping. Sleep Doctors love to blame resistance to the sleep mask on claustrophobia. If that's not part of the problem, let them know.

I have back/neck problems that are worse when I use a polliw, so no polliw for me. If you try a really flat polliw it may be enough considering how puffy you mattress topper seems to be. It will depend on your sleeping posture.
