Penis Extender Increases Penis Size by More than a Third, Study Shows

Men who regularly used penis extenders for around six months can expect to have their penis enlarged by more than 30 percent, a new study says.

The Italian research at the University of Turin, Italy enrolled 21 men with an average age of 47, who took part in one-year study. Dr Paolo Gontero, an urologist and the author of the study, said that the volunteers also underwent psychosexual counseling to ensure better results.

All the participants were asked to use the Andro-Penis device for around 4 to 6 hours a day for extended period of six months. The penis extension device consists of a plastic ring with two rods that serve as a traction and silicone band to keep the penis in place. At the end of the first month of the study the volunteers were asked to increase the traction to 600g, gradually increasing it up to 1200g by the end of the six month.

The results of the study showed that at the end of the study the length of flaccid penis of men enlarged by 32 percent (3,72 inches) on average with the initial average length of flaccid penis 2.82 inches.

Men also reported better erectile function that improved up to 36 percent on average. Almost all the participants showed high satisfaction level with their flaccid penis length and sex life in general after the study.

Scientists say penis enlargement with penis extension device is a better alternative to surgery that holds the risk of a number of complications. Besides, most men, who want to enlarge their penis often fail to meet the clinical criteria for surgical procedure due to the fact that the size of their penis is more than 1,5 inches.

Only one participant had a penis size less than 1,5 inches, while 12 of the men were diagnosed with dysmorphia, a condition characterized by a mistaken belief that some body part is unattractive. Other 8 participants had surgery for penile curvature.

Scientists say that if further studies confirm the results, penis extension devices would be recommended to men seeking for penis enlargement.
