Nov 28, 2011
Finding a suspicious lump can be scary for every woman, but going to the doctor for a check-up is even greater stress. The scientists at Nihon University have come up with the portable breast cancer detection device that can help you find out about your risk of having breast cancer. This tool can be especially useful for those, who live in remote areas.

All that is needed is o press the scanner against the skin and get the results almost immediately. The device emits light at he wavelength of 850 nm to reveal he darker areas that might indicate cancer as the higher concentration of blood cells. The results are shown on LCD display, which you will be able to share with your health care provider.

Unfortunately, the device is currently been tested by the researchers, but let's hope it will soon become widely available.
