The new condom that enhances erection in men will soon become available in Europe. The CSD500 condom developed by British company Futura Medica is coated with a vasodilator gel that increases blood flow when it comes in contact with the skin. As a result, men get stronger and long-lasting erections. However, this condom will not be a substitute for Viagra to treat erectile dysfunction, but rather a "tool" that helps men maintain an erection, while having condom on, which is a common problem among men.
The most difficult part was to develop an erection-enhancing gel that would be compatible with the latex condoms. Manufacturers hope that the new Viagra condom will promote the use of condoms not only as a protection against STD's, but as a sexual performance booster.
The CSD500 condom will be distributed by the well-known company Durex. If it will be approved, it will be available in Europe by the end of the year.
